Market
My Aunt, Uncle and Cousin shop for their food at a Market. It is a bit different than a grocery store.

In China they have a big New Year celebration. They assign an animal to each year. 2009 is the year of the Bull.

Around Hong Kong
We spent a lot of time outside while in Hong Kong. The weather was much nicer there than in Guangzhou!

Ferry and the Peak in Hong Kong
Hong Kong is a cool place. It is an island with lots and lots of really tall buildings. In addition to riding a train and a subway I got to ride on a ferry boat and a cable car.

The Peak Tram is the cable car that we took to get to the top of Hong Kong island.

Going to Hong Kong
I got to go on an adventure to Hong Kong! We started in Guangzhou, China and two hours later we were in Hong Kong.

Around the neighborhood
January 15 - 17
Uncle Johnny, Aunt Monika and Cousin Owen took me out and about the last few days. They showed me their neighborhood and the University where Uncle Johnny is studying.

This is Sun Yat Sen University where Uncle Johnny is studying. Can you read the characters?
I had to be careful not to fall in and get mailed somewhere new!
Behind us is the apartment building where they live. It's 45 stories high, thankfully they live on the 5th floor.
